Signing Off...

It's a new year, and I've decided that I need to trim back a number if nice things in order to focus on where God seems to be leading me.

To that end, I'm going to officially stop posting on LiveJournal. Most of my friends have moved on (officially or otherwise), and it's really a pain to try and juggle multiple writing venues.

I'll keep the account, if only to make it easier to comment on others' posts in the future. Otherwise, you can find me on my blog. =)

Why proof-texting is a bad idea...

I pummel my body and make it a slave... [1 Corinthians 9:27]

...husbands should love their wives as their own bodies. [Ephesians 5:28]

I rest my case.

XP Pro Woes

Anyone know how to get XP's NTLoader to recognize the boot drive when it's on the Secondary IDE Controller? Our Primary IDE Controller was fried in a storm a few years back, and while WinME (and Ubuntu) are okay with that, XP Pro seems to be fussy when the hard drive isn't #0 on the Primary cable.

In the meantime, I'm looking for a decent Linux-based program that can access an NTFS partition with read/write permissions. There's nothing on the thing except for XP Setup files at this point, so I'm not worried about losing data. I just need to be able to tweak boot.ini.

And no, getting a new motherboard/computer is not an option at the moment. I'll go strictly Ubuntu before that... I refuse to let a picky OS force me into a systems upgrade -- especially when it's from Micro$oft. =p

Joshua's a chick magnet ALREADY?!?! ;-)

I set up this thing for Joshua a little while ago... it's interesting how most of the comments that have been left are from women.

I guess most guys on the site aren't too interested in babies. ;)
